IN SUPPORT OF ORTIZ

I would like to express my appreciation and support for Dan Ortiz as the representative to the state Legislature. 

 

I have known Dan in many capacities over the last 35 years. As one of his students in the ‘80s, as a coach, as a fellow parishioner, as runner, as a customer at my business and most recently as our representative.

Several things stand out over the years. Dan is about service to others. When our daughter was in a local theatre production, she received a nice note from Dan after expressing his admiration of her efforts. Thanks Dan for your lifetime involvement in our town. When partisan vitriol is the order of the day, Dan has stayed focused on serving us by standing up for funding of the public schools and the vital infrastructure of the Alaska Marine Highway. His seniority and independent status really is a asset to our community in the Legislature. 

 

Please help Ketchikan continue to succeed and grow by voting for Dan.
